Bad Ischl, right in the heart of the lakes and mountains of the Salzkammergut,
Haus Strutzenberger is small and friendly.
Our self catering apartments are in a quiet residential area.
There are great walks and cycle routes right from the house and easy
access to excellent skiing in winter.
We are just 10 -15 minutes easy walk from
the centre of the town. Bad Ischl has
a good range of shops., plenty of excellent, well priced places to eat and a
first class thermal spa -the Eurotherme.
Our apartments are not just a base for
your holiday, they are a "home away from home". We are always around to help you get
the most from your time here.

Ischl - Heart of the Salzkammergut
Bad Ischl is less than an hour ,by car, from Salzburg and the airport. Salzburg
Airport is well served by the
low cost airlines from the UK and other European countries including
Ryanair and Thomsonfly.
Bad Ischl is a popular, year round, holiday destination, surrounded by the most stunning lakes and mountains.
There is great walking, cycling and golf at the nearby Salzkammergut Golf Club.
In winter there is excellent skiing in Bad Ischl and a short drive away at
Dachstein West and Postalm
The town was the favourite residence of the Kaiser Franz Josef, he spent
over 80 summers here. Bad Ischl still celebrates its regal past with the Lehar
Operetta Festival and Kaiserfest each summer.

the clear mountain air and enjoy the scenery.
